Renewal: Works About Hope

Mahleah Cochran

In this painting, I see a person covered by the blackness and heaviness of a deep depression. But, a light is shining from above. A person can always look up and see hope from above.

MahLeah Cochran states: “When I paint, volumes of expressions emerge. Light and darkness in their various forms, speak. Lines and colors tell a story. “

MahLeah grew up in Columbus, Ohio, USA. She lived in New York. During the last two decades, she has traveled the world with various humanitarian groups and organizations. Her experiences heavily influence her art and help aid in her recovery.
