Greater Columbus Arts Council Awards Third Quarter Project Support Grants

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Greater Columbus Arts Council board of trustees approved 15 grants totaling $114,550 for third quarter Project Support in 2016.

Various performances and exhibitions will occur throughout Columbus such as the Dare to be Heard poetry workshop and readings at the Columbus Cultural Art Center, South Pacific at Northland Performing Arts Center, Frequency Fridays’ experimental music in Clintonville and the Central Ohio Discovery Ensemble presenting contemporary classical music at Wild Goose Creative. Project Support: Project Support grants provide funding for the numerous short-term cultural activities that give Columbus its vitality. The Arts Council awarded $114,500 in Project Support grants to the following organizations and projects:
